There is now a piano, a drum kit, bass amp etc. and we will be encouraging a full improvised band line up at the end of the night, anyone who went to the Hat & Feather nights will know the potential wonder of such an activity. It is the best place for meeting other musicians and performers, and for gigging experience. Everyone and everything is welcome.

It will be in the room formally known as The Love Lounge at the back of The Bell which has now been re-decorated and is less bright and shiny and more dusky and sexy, much better for making sweet (and bitter) music. The night will now be known as The Blind Tiger Playgroup. The bar will be open and Louie will be serving up some special libations, as ever, performers will get a free drink.

Anyone who would like to perform should let me know here or come to The Bell and make it known before 9pm on the night.

This is Bath's original open mic night and with a bit of creativity, love and weirdness (and maybe a few drinks) will again be one of the most important nights in the West. If it goes well, some 2am licences are an increasingly tempting option... Tell your friends.
